A good carpet is the foundation of any room design. As a designer who specializes in creating unique, livable spaces on tight budgets, I lean toward floor coverings “with history” because they add instant character and depth for similar or better prices as mediocre offerings from retail outlets. After a lovely message exchange with this relatively new Etsy seller, I decided to purchase a large 9’ by 12’ tabriz in a yummy faded pink and beige to anchor a room that needed to feel French and feminine. The carpet arrived very quickly via Fedex and was well packed (folded, meant to be laid flat immediately upon arrival). It was in superb used condition, recently cleaned. The room isn’t completely finished yet, but I wanted to send a review and some pictures quickly in order to support a new vendor. Don’t hesitate to buy!

Unfortunately, I was shipped the wrong rug. I alerted the seller, who was able to trace the rug and both I and the other buyer shipped our rugs to the correct party (the seller covered the shipping charges). The rug is nice, but the colors are significantly different than the photos (photos show a cool ivory/yellow, but the rug is an orange/peach --I'm guessing the rug was treated to mute the original colors, which typically leads to an orangey hue). Does not work with my room. I will try to resell. The seller was relatively accommodating with the mix-up but it was not a great experience overall. Given the positive reviews, I'm guessing my situation doesn't happen often. Edit: I am updating my review to 5 stars because the seller was helpful in resolving my issues.

Great customer service. Arrived earlier than expected. Colors a shade darker but I know with rugs it can be difficult to photograph them exactly. NO SMELL! I would order from this vendor again without hesitation.

I am very happy with the purchase. The rug is just perfect! Despite the fact that it's vintage, it's perfectly clean and soft. All of his withering looks very picturesque. The delivery was made on time, seller was very polite and answered all my questions. Thank you for the carpet, it really decorates my interior.
