Rug looked pretty when it arrived but had a super strong smell, which was basically unbearable. Took it to get it cleaned (cost $150), cleaners explained that the rug had a chemical smell because it had been washed to make it look vintage/faded. So it's not truly a "vintage" rug either. Even after having it washed, the rug still smells, it's more of a shampoo smell now but it is waay too strong. I genuinely don't know what to do, I wasted so much $$$ and time.
